More Than a Coach, He Brought The Fun: Friends and Athletes Across the World Remember Igor Badamshin

When CXC coach Igor Badamshin died of a heart attack out on the ski trails, the whole American ski community mourned - from the midwest to New England, his first home in America, and then all the way to the U.S. Ski Team in Europe and back to his homeland of Russia. Gold Medal Coaching for Women’s Clinic

Attendance may have been small at last weekend’s camp, but the coaching was of gold-medal caliber.  Seven master skiers, all women, braved the heat Friday through Sunday, learning from and training with Olympian Nina Gavrilyuk at Lakewoods Resort in Cable, Wisconsin.
