Downing Continues Masters Discussion

A few months ago, Torbjorn Karlsen wrote an article here on FasterSkier.com about his ideas for developing Masters racing in the US.

In the article, Torbjorn made a number of specific suggestions such as a National Ranking List for Masters and increasing the importance of Masters Nationals. He called specifically on John Downing, director of American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS) to address his ideas.

Downing was preoccupied with organizing Masters Nationals at the time, but now that the season is over, he has had time to layout his thoughts and ideas for the future of Masters Racing. His article addresses Torbjorn's ideas, and provides interesting insight into previous decisions and future goals.
