Andrew Newell has been one of the top Junior skiers in the country for the past few years, and is also one of the top sprinters. He placed 8th in the sprint at the Under 23 CHampionships last February and was also the top American in the sprint at the World Championships. Newell is also a contributing author to FasterSkier.com and produces ski films for his X-Ski Films outfit in his spare time.

Its fun and exciting, and it sure beats going to school or work
everyday.

If you weren't a ski racer, what would you be doing?
Probably still surfing
in Costa Rica.

What is your take on the issue of doping in cross country ski racing these
I tried to go on a 4 hr. bike ride with Carl [Swenson], Justin [Wadsworth],
