The 2004 Worldloppet season opened last weekend with the Jizerska Marathon in the Czech Republic. A new marathon team put together by Atomic dominated the race taking Gold and Bronze. Last year's Swedish Vasaloppet Champion, Oskar Svard of Sweden, won the Gold and former North American Birkebeiner Champion Mikhail Botwinov of Austria took home the Bronze. Both athletes ski for Atomic.
