The 37th annual traditional Jizerska Padesatka ski race is a member of Worldloppet and FIS Marathon Cup, and is held at the mountain resort Bedrichov in the Jizera mountains in the Czech Republic. 2864 men and 176 women from 28 countries started the 50-km classical technique race. Competitors were divided into 5 waves with 500 people in each. The weather was partly cloudy with temperatures around zero Celsius.
 with a time of 2:11,35, with Raul Olle from Estonia, 2:11,44, in second place and Michael Botwinov (AUT), 2:11:57 in third. Amongst women Cristina Paluselli from Italy won in 2:33,08, followed by Ulrika Persson from Sweden, 2:33,34 Katerina Smutna from Czech Republic, 2:34,29 and Norwegian and former US College skier Unni Odegaard.</p>
