ELDORA, Colo. (Feb. 21) — With 10 inches of new snow and clear skies as a backdrop, Tor Erik Schjellerud claimed the 10-kilometer classic for the host school as the University of Colorado posted seven top-10 finishes. Geir Endre Rogn of New Mexico was second, and Henning Dybendal of Utah was third. Zach Violett of Alaska-Anchorage was the top American in 7th.
In the women's 5K classic, Martina Stursova of New Mexico won by 30 seconds, ahead of Jana Rehemaa of CU and Karin Camenisch of Denver.
