The training season has started for members of the various US cross country teams.
Many of the skiers are currently training on their own at various locations around the country, while Justin Freeman, Wendy Wagner and Andrew Johnson are training in Park City, Utah. The “official†US Ski Team Camp program starts July 15. New this year is a low altitude, high intensity camp in San Diego, California. The traditional Fairbanks camp is not on the agenda and this year’s early World Cup preparation will be done in Munio, Finland. The all-around team will go directly from Park City to Finland in November while the sprinters will be in West Yellowstone, Montana from November 18 to 30.
The sprint team will not participate in World Cup 1.
