US National Team Tentative Camp Schedule For The 2004-2005 Season

The training season has started for members of the various US cross country teams.

Many of the skiers are currently training on their own at various locations around the country, while Justin Freeman, Wendy Wagner and Andrew Johnson are training in Park City, Utah. The “official” US Ski Team Camp program starts July 15. New this year is a low altitude, high intensity camp in San Diego, California. The traditional Fairbanks camp is not on the agenda and this year’s early World Cup preparation will be done in Munio, Finland. The all-around team will go directly from Park City to Finland in November while the sprinters will be in West Yellowstone, Montana from November 18 to 30.

The sprint team will not participate in World Cup 1.

All-around team

Park City, Utah July 15 – August 2
New Zealand, Aug 2 – August 28
Park City September 7-18
San Diego, California September 18-October 1
Park City, Utah October 1-November 1
Munio, Finland November 2 – November 15
World Cup participation November and December
US Nationals December 20-January 1
World Cup Jan 12 to World Championship

Pre- Worlds training site has not been set, but most likely at the same altitude
as Worlds and around the Rupholding/Reit Im Winkel area.

Sprinters  

Same as above until October, then:

Park City, Utah October1-November 18
West Yellowstone November 18-November 30
Then Nor AM races and then the same as above
