Bente Skari (32) wants to help the Norwegian women’s team and will be a part of the coaching staff at their August camp at Kvitfjell, Norway. Skari will be focusing on helping with classic technique and championship preparations.

The Women’s team coach Svein Tore Samdal had expressed interest in getting help from Bente even before she was back from her “trip around the World”. Skari considered the offer when she came back and said yes to help out for a few days at the upcoming August camp.

– I said yes to spend two days at their August camp. It’s nice to be asked. I would like to see what they are doing and up-to, said Skari to the VG newspaper.

– She will most likely do a couple rollerski sessions with the girls and look at their technique. She can also teach the `girls something about the mental preparations before big championships. Bente was very good at that, said Samdal

– I was offered to be involved further but I said no thanks. I’m going to start with something new and won’t have much time for other projects. I want to learn something different in the future, explains Skari.
