Jan Egil used to be one of Norway’s most training athletes, but has trained less but harder ahead of this season. He is now using short hard blocks combined with longer blocks with lots of threshold training.
Securing a spot on the World Cup team makes his World’s dream possible. That’s what counts when he is on the starting line at Beitistolen in one week. He is on the other hand aware that putting so much emphasis on the first race of the season can make things tough later.
