Editor's Note: Using the results posted on the Spring Series website, we erroneously concluded, and reported, that Kris Freeman had won Spring Series. In fact, Ivan Babikov was the overall winner. We apologize for the mistake

Kris Freeman finished off Spring Series the same way he started it a week earlier, with a win. But it wasn't enough to get take the Overall title away from Ivan Babikov. Freeman was fourth in the overall coming into Saturday's classic race, but he finished 15 seconds ahead of second place Ivan Babikov in the 15K classic and 23 seconds ahead of third place Martin Koukal. This was not quite enough, however, as Babikov was able to win the overall by 8 seconds.

Kamila Radjlova won Saturyday's Spring Series Finale in dominating fashion. She covered the 10K course in 34:52.2 to win by 45 seconds over the US Ski Team's Wendy Wagner. Karin Camenish (Rossignol) was third, 13 seconds behind Wagner. Daria Gaiazova was able to clinch the Overall Spring Series title, thanks to her fourth place finish.
