The Norwegian women’s team has their first camp for the season in Mysen on May 11-13. On the agenda is goal setting, planning, a sprint rollerski race and an interval session at what might become Norway’s first ever Formula-1 racetrack.

The meetings at the camp are important for the Olympic season.

– We might adjust the training as we go along, but are now laying out rules and goals, says the coach Svein Tore Samdal.

– The training for the 2006 season will roughly be done as last season. No big changes, but some adjustments. The peak is geared 100% towards the Olympics. This might involve that most of the skiers has a cynical prioritizing of the World Cup this season. It might be that we skip certain races in order to secure training periods toward the Olympics, adds Samdal
