It’s hard not to be noticed when you rollerski up Alp d’Huez

Locals and tourists couldn’t believe what they saw on July 8, 2005; a rollerskier coming up Alp d’Huez a few minutes ahead of the cyclists from the Discovery team. The rollerskier’s support car yelled out 1.14.47 when he crossed the finish banner. Was it a new record on classic rollerskis?
One of the Discovery team’s rider’s walked over to the rollerskier, looked at his skis, poles and boots, shock the skiers hand and said “Coolâ€.
