– The average values for the boys is a little higher than in the past, explains the Norwegian junior national team coach, Jon Arne Schjetne following last weeks O2 test.

The Norwegian junior national team just finished a camp at Toppidrettssenteret in Oslo, along with 25 skiers from various skigymnas (ski high schools).

The camp included a time-trial and a MaxV02 test.

– It looks like the skiers are in good shape, but its how you perform on snow that counts, says Schjetne.

Good O2 test
Schjetne was satisfied with the O2 tests. The girls tested between 61 and 66, while the boys were between 76 and 83. The average for the boys is a little higher than in the past, says Schjetne

Northug and Lauvhaug
The women’s time-trial was won by Hilde Lauvhaug ahead of Astrid Jakobsen. Petter Northug won the boys race ahead of Jonas Nielsen
