Here are some pictures and a snow report from Anchorage Alaska. The road up to Hatcher Pass was paved a few years ago; depending on how far down you start you can rollerski for hours and hours. Our men did 2 ½ hour and our women 2 hours of distance skate skiing level 1-2.
Today we had to end about 2 miles before the top due to snow on the road, and that was at about 3000 feet. Hopefully this was one of the last rollerski workouts for this year. Most years, this is where we start our early skiing usually in mid October so let’s hope….
