Oscar Svard, the winner of the World’s largest ski race, the Swedish Vasaloppet, is ready for this weekend’s Swedish ski premiere. But the goal is further into the season.

Svard won Vasaloppet for the second time last season. He is ready for a new season, but it didn’t start well for the long-distance specialist.
– I was sick with myco plasma in May and June, but has been training well after that, says Oscar Svard
He has done two on-snow camps this fall. One in Ramsau and one in Val Senales. He is for that reason confident ahead of a new long-distance season where Vasaloppet again is the biggest goal.
– I want to be in shape by January 15th, says Oscar Svard.
That’s the date for the Jizerska Padesatka long-distance race.
