Getting Ready For Nationals: 10-K Skate Time-Trial
Atomic rep R.J. Guiney, Coach Torbjorn Karlsen, sprinter Anders Haugen and three juniors from the National Sport Foundation’s junior program in Park City, Utah met for a 10-kilometer skate time-trial at the Soldier Hollow Olympic stadium on Friday December 23.

Coach Gordon Lange could not be talked in to racing, but agreed to be chief of timing.</p>
<p>Conditions: Sunny and warm. It had rained quite a bit overnight and the snow was (scary) fast and icy.</p>
<p>Course: Four times in the 2.5-kilometer loop that goes from the stadium and up past the lodge, then down toward the stadium and around the sprint loop.</p>
