The Swedish national team has struggled at the beginning of the season, but the 30-kilometer classic in Canmore last week gave signals that something is about to change. Mathias Fredriksson was one of the most active skiers in the front of the lead pack.
 the Olympics if I didn’t feel better in the 30-kilometer than how I did in the 15-kilometer race. </p>
<p>— Now I don’t need to worry as much anymore. This should look very good by the Olympics after a few more weeks with training, says Fredriksson.</p>
