Lots of new snow, the big track setter had not showed up yet, but a large forest service “belt machine” had packed it nicely for classic uphill powder skiing. Here are some photos from a Tuesday morning workout in Mill Creek Canyon outside Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tuesday January 31, 2006: – The temperature was around 30 Fahrenheit (-1 Celsius), 6-8 inches of new snow last night and a lot more expected the next three days. It looks like we are going to have good spring skiing this year.
