Raid toward Austria’s National team

The Italian police did a large raid/razzia on the Austrian national team during Wednesday’s World Cup races in Cogne, Italy. One of the athletes was taken in to custody by the police.

Martin Tauber of Austria was taken into police custody right after crossing the finish line in Wednesday’s 15-kilometer individual start World Cup race in Cogne, Italy. The raid was labeled a doping-razzia and the police searched the hotel where the Austrians are staying.

Tauber was 10th in Wednesday’s race, 25 seconds behind the winner.
