Fischer Athletes Dominate 2007 National Championships

January 9th 2007: Fischer athletes win 6 National Championships in Houghton MI. With all of the nation’s top Nordic racers in attendance, athletes using Fischer repeatedly captured the top step of the podium at the Michigan Tech trails. Kris Freeman added to his National Championship hardware by taking both men’s distance races, while ‘Kicking’ Randall and Andy Newell displayed their world class sprinting speed by blazing to victory in the Individual Sprint events. Out of a possible 18 medals awarded in the individual events, athletes using Fischer won 10.

At the end of the individual races the U.S. Ski Team named the athletes for the upcoming J1 Scandinavian Cup team, the World Junior Championship team and the U23 Championship team; sixty percent of those athletes use Fischer.

Congratulations to these competitors on their success at the 2007 National Championships and all the athletes who competed in Houghton.
