**Mark Nadell was at Soldier Hollow coaching for Far West Nordic, and took hundreds of great photos of a variety of skiers from all different teams. Because of the lack of an official photographer, he is planning to sell prints of his photos via an online photo ordering site, with a percentage of the proceeds going to benefit the Far West Nordic Junior Program. The original intention was not to publish these photos, or to try to sell them, but because there was no official event photographer, it would be a great service to make them available, and Soldier Hollow organizers have OK'ed the idea.
The price for the prints significantly under the suggested retail, and much cheaper than would be found from a traditional photographer. Each race from the week is set up as separate categories, and the photos are ordered alphabetically by last name throughout each race gallery.

Here (see below) is just a small sample of his professional photography. Mark attempts to not just take pictures of the skiers, but gets a visual snapshot of the effort it takes to compete in cross country skiing. These aren’t just “stock†photos from the same angle over and over again, but are designed to draw you in to the emotion of nordic racing.
