A 1200 meter synthetic cross-country ski track will open on October 20th in Yorkshire, Great Brittan. The track is located in Stockeld Park and is the brainchild of owner Peter Grant, a keen skier. The loop is lighted and is part of ‘The Christmas Adventure’ at the Park. As well as skiing, visitors can skate on a large outdoor rink, stroll through an Enchanted Wood, get lost in a vast Snowflake Maze and enjoy refreshments in the Ice Bar Café. The terrain is moderate, and the course has been designed to give beginners an introduction to the sport.
