The World Cup Red Group consists of the top 30 skiers ranked by World Cup points. A separate list is maintained for sprinting and distance.

Members of the Red Group have travel and accommodation expenses paid by the FIS for the next racing period. These rankings include all World Cup races from the current 2007/2008 season, as well as all races from periods II-IV of the 2006/2007 season – therefore these rankings differ from the overall World Cup standings which consist of all races from a single season.
