This year’s 30th edition of the Gatineau (formerly Keskinada) Loppet brings with it an exciting new opportunity for skiers and racers to help children in the developing world while gliding over the hills of the legendary Gatineau park.

Through a newly formed partnership with Right to Play, participants in this year’s Gatineau loppet (February 15th-17th), can register on-line at www.righttoplay-ski.com and have profits from their entry fees go towards supporting Right to Play’s programs.

Right to Play is an athlete-driven humanitarian organization that uses sport and play as a tool for the development of children and youth in the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Through its strong commitment to improving the lives of these children and strengthening their communities, Right to Play translates the best practices of sport and play into opportunities to promote health, development and peace.

Working across 23 countries throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle-east, Right to Play has also just recently partnered with the International Ski Federation (FIS) and is generously supported by renowned cross-country skiers Bjorn Daehlie, Anders Auckland, Beckie Scott and Sara Renner, among others.

To register for this unique opportunity to make a difference to disadvantaged children while participating in one of Canada’s greatest skiing events, please visit www.rightoplay-ski.com and for more information about the 30th Gatineau loppet, please visit www.gatineauloppet.com.
