FasterSkier is pleased to present the first annual FasterSkier Awards.
These awards will be given out to the top North American-based man and woman in each of the following categories:
Skier of the Year
Given to the the top skier in North America for the 2007/2008 season.
Performance of the Year
Awarded for the best single performance of the 2007/2008 season.
Rookie of the Year
Rookie is defined loosely, but this award is given to the top skier moving up a level this season.
Junior Skier of the Year
Awarded to the top Junior skier during the 2007/2008 season.
Continental Skier of the Year
Awarded to the top skier racing primarily on the North American continent during the 2007/2008 season.
Collegiate Skier of the Year
Awarded to the top collegiate skier of the 2007/2008 season
Biathlete of the Year
Awarded to the top biathlete of the 2007/2008 season.
Awards will be anonunced daily starting on Monday, April 21.
