SUMMARY & QUALIFICATIONS: The Youth & Introductory Programs Director directs youth skiing with the Bill Koch Youth Ski League committee and builds on NENSA’s current programming designed to attract new skiers of all ages to the sport; specifically clinics, camps, and travel opportunities, along with the coaches education curriculum. This position will also oversee the development and implementation of new programming and community skiing initiatives. In addition, the Introductory Programs Director works closely with NENSA’s Executive Director, Competitive Programs Director, Office Manager, Event Manager, committees, and board of directors to support projects contributing to all aspects of the mission.

The ideal candidate for the Youth & Introductory Programs Director will be a self-directed, highly motivated, team-player with a demonstrated track-record of working successfully with kids. The candidate will be ready to have a huge impact on skiing in New England by managing programs to introduce skiers of all ages to the sport from conception to implementation. Must work independently in a de-centralized organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to connect with skiers through NENSA.net, the Winter Event Guide, New England Nordic News, camps, and clinics. A high-level of comfort with MS Office software, email, web applications, and the internet is required to effectively collaborate with NENSA staff, committees, and members.

The Youth & Introductory Programs Director will work from a home office with frequent weekend travel in New England required.

SALARY & BENEFITS: $30,000. Retirement Match. Medical Insurance stipend option.
