WHY:
Designed to introduce and provide season refresher training for new to veteran Nordic sports enthusiasts, the Colorado Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Day offers individuals and families the opportunity to discover and experience Colorado’s winter wilderness playground with sports that are both friendly to the environment and the pocketbook.

Participating resorts are offering a range of learn-to-ski/snowshoe and/or guided tours and lesson packages. Proceed from the day’s season kick-off will benefit CCCSA, celebrating its 25th Anniversary. The non-profit organization helps promote and market the sports of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, including snow condition reports and related sporting events at more than 15 nordic centers and ranch resorts across the state.

AGES:
All ages are welcome! Rental equipment is available at all participating centers.
