Alaska Cup (overall team) Standings

Donner Summit, CA – After winning six medals in Friday’s classic races New England is in the lead for the Alaska Cup (Overall team standings) with a total of 965 points at the 2009 Cross Country Ski Junior Olympics at Auburn Ski Club Training Center.

Intermountain Northern, who was leading after Wednesday’s mass start skate races, is back in second with 902 points. Alaska is in third with 802 points followed by Rocky Mountain, Midwest, Far West, Pacific Northwest, High Plains, Mid Atlantic and Great Lakes.

The winner of the Alaska Cup will be determined after the relay races starting Saturday,  March 14 at 9 a.m.
