Mr. Alex Harvey’s Bronze!

Earlier today I was talking with a friend on MSN and wondering why the torrent for today’s races were going so slow. He asked me if I had seen the results from today yet. I replied “no” (I like to watch the races before I look at the results page, keeps the element of surprise in the race; as if watching it live. It also explains why these blogs come out rather late). He said “You will $h*t your pants; you’re are in for a treat.” Let’s just say the races couldn’t finish downloading soon enough. As soon as the mens race was done downloading it I started watching and after some welcome back’s from David Goldstrom (the women race was prior to the mens, I will recap that one tomorrow) were “And the story so far is that Alex Harvey has the lead…”. Now I knew I was in for a treat.br /br /The weather was spectacular for the spectators, not so much for the racer as it turned the course into a slush cup (thankfully it wasn’t a skate race). Early on, Legkov and Rotchev tried a break that extended to 24 seconds before it they were swallowed back up by the 13km mark. Then Alex had decided that the pace was settling a little too much and he was the solution to the
