The ladies rode their bikes to Madawaska for their afternoon workout one day, but they also had other plans on their mind. The St. John Valley Acadian Festival was going on in Madawaska and one of the events was a bed race. Five person teams push their bed down Main Street with one person in a “onezie” (one piece pajama get up) and four people pushing, at the end of the street the “onezie” needs to be switched to another teammate and the bed pushed back to the start. The women performed valiantly winning the Women’s division! And if there was a “best dressed” category they would’ve won that too.br /br /
