Caldwell is widely known as the wunderkind, having combined two endurance family genetics with a lifetime of high fluorocarbon inhalation creating superhero powers that escape most Nordic skiers. (He has excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.) He brings with him Amy and Zach Caldwell who have some experience in the ski world, and who will act as his entourage. Gunnar commented on the recent transition. “I’m pleased. Though Boulder is a self-important, dainty place, the food is certainly better than in Canada and I feel that my services here will be more appreciated.”/p
