What with all the training that we as skiers do, recovery is key. In fact, it’s recovery which actually benefits us; the training only serves to break our body down while the *proper* recovery allows us to super-compensate for the training and thus come out the other end stronger, faster, better looking, etc etc etc.br /br /We of MOD have been utilizing the extraordinary therapeutic massage services of Alison Hanks, a local licensed massage practitioner and avid long-distance runner. Through both Erik and Sadie’s minor injuries this summer and all of our general training fatigue Alison’s work has served a crucial purpose in bringing our bodies to a quicker recovery, enabling us to get out and train harder the next day.br /br /Check out her blog: http://alisonhankslmp.blogspot.com.br /br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Mg2hQbkHkNs/Soxd22KuuoI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/MuCzD7bXhGQ/s1600-h/60361244772225alisonlogo.jpg”img style=”margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 275px; height: 165px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Mg2hQbkHkNs/Soxd22KuuoI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/MuCzD7bXhGQ/s320/60361244772225alisonlogo.jpg” alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371771652380998274″ border=”0″ //adiv class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/2910103639238326543-2246252693564902703?l=methowolympicdevelopment.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
