We have all wanted to see more of Alec McGovern’s bag piping, which often seems to get stuck in the basement of the art center. Finally the day came–at halftime of the first Boys Varsity soccer match. GMVS vs. Vergennes.br /br /Alec absolutely nailed it, sucking in the crowd with what I could best describe as new age pipe tunes. The beat was mesmerizing and stole the attention of the entire crowd and both teams. For about ten minutes Alec transported everyone to a special place that was peaceful and otherworldly. Gumby was dancing…br /br /Props Alec.
