Fischer Fit Nights in the Midwest

FasterSkierSeptember 7, 20091

With the nights growing longer and colder, it is time to start thinking about winter and getting out on the ski trails.  Farmers Almanac is predicting a cold and snowy winter from the plains all the way to the east coast.  But, do you have your gear ready to go, or is it time to think about replacing your old, worn out ski equipment?
Fischer race director Chris Hall and Fischer Midwest rep Jon Theis will be present at the annual September Midwest Sales weekend held in Minneapolis at Gear West in Long Lake and at Hoigaard’s in St. Louis Park.

Chris has worked as the Fischer race director for 3 years now.  Prior to coming to Fischer, Chris was the Head Technician of the US Cross Country team for 6 years.  For the past 9 years, he has been selecting skis for the top US cross country skiers, including Kikkan Randall, Kris Freeman and Andy Newell.  “It is great to have the opportunity to work with these athletes,” said Chris. “The feedback that Fischer receives from Kikkan, Kris and Andy is amazing and Fischer is able to use the information from these athletes to continue to improve the performance of Fischer skis.”
