XCFeedsTesting Week Ends with BMD D-Pole

Brrrrr… we had a nice day, but temperatures struggled to reach 40 for our d-pole test. When it is cold, the roller skiing is noticably slower. That is the only drawback to field tests, it is hard to replicate conditions. Nevertheless, we did our d-pole test and it went quite well. Hallie, Mac and Walker all set PR’s. With the cold conditions setting a PR means that there is a significant improvement, good going! All of the others skied well and would have been within several seconds of their PR’s one way or the other (except Izzy who is coming off a nasty cold and was clearly flat).br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZm_1IzQMI/AAAAAAAABRQ/SQrJSw_1F0k/s1600-h/100_5289.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 247px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZm_1IzQMI/AAAAAAAABRQ/SQrJSw_1F0k/s400/100_5289.JPG” border=”0″ alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5392610850604531906″ //abr /After the test, everyone double poled and single poled 5 km of each then warmed down by striding up the hill. Gage and Sophie skated today. Sophie was doing an easy distance workout after her intensity filled Lake Placid camp and Gage switched testing days because she had a leg injury last week and couldn’t do the skate test. Gage was very close to her skate PR time so that was good!br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZmWxX_E3I/AAAAAAAABRI/EdKOw5bxnq0/s1600-h/100_5286.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 322px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZmWxX_E3I/AAAAAAAABRI/EdKOw5bxnq0/s400/100_5286.JPG” border=”0″ alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5392610145219842930″ //abr /Sometimes when we single pole without legs up the hill, the kids tend to squat down too much. here we are talking about engaging the core and keeping our legs straighter.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZlnnfHv6I/AAAAAAAABRA/hJSLQgc_Qxk/s1600-h/100_5282.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 345px;” src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZlnnfHv6I/AAAAAAAABRA/hJSLQgc_Qxk/s400/100_5282.JPG” border=”0″ alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5392609335111565218″ //abr /Here are todays times: Sky 2:43, Cam 2:48, Walker 2:57, Austin 2:58, Cobby 3:05, Heather 3:18, Mac 3:36, Rachel 3:53, Cambria 3:54, Izzy 4:01, Issy 4:08, Hallie 4:11 and Gage (skating the skate course) 3:36.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZkrneqHiI/AAAAAAAABQ4/Fxp34PGcq9k/s1600-h/100_5278.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 312px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/StZkrneqHiI/AAAAAAAABQ4/Fxp34PGcq9k/s400/100_5278.JPG” border=”0″ alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5392608304317472290″ //adiv class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4680416899705879324-7860660083674586871?l=smsxc.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
