According to numerous online sources, the number one New Year’s resolution is to get in shape, lose weight, and lead a healthier lifestyle.  Stay on track (literally and figuratively) by registering for the 2010 Yellowstone Rendezvous Race today!  Spend the next two months sticking to your guns and training for the marathon ski race held annually in West Yellowstone, Montana.

Registration for the 50k, 25k, 10k, 5k, and 2k races are currently available online at http://www.rendezvousrace.com/register.html or via mail.  Be sure to register early and avoid late fees.  The next fee increase will be January 31, 2010.  The Rendezvous Race is a non-profit organization with proceeds benefiting local ski groups, youth organizations, and community projects.

Bring the whole family!  There is a weekend of fun waiting for you in West Yellowstone.  Yellowstone National Park is open until March 15, 2010.  There is plenty of time to take a snowcoach or snowmobile tour of America’s first national park and make the Rendezvous Race a true ski vacation.  Spend a few days on the Rendezvous Race course and other local trails.  Be sure to check out the IMAX theatre, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, the Youth Ski Festival, and our local shops.

The skiing conditions in West Yellowstone are great.  The Rendezvous Ski Trails currently has over two feet of groomed packed powder on the ground and more is yet to come.  The entire Rendezvous Trail system is groomed with both a skate lane and classic track.  See for yourself through the Rendezvous Trailhead webcam  http://wyellowstone.com/chamber/rendezvous.html

Think Snow!  We are looking forward to seeing you at the 31st Annual Yellowstone Rendezvous Race.
