It was tough course with lots and lots of uphill. The US women represented well! Caitlin Compton led the way with a 14th place finish and we had 5 women in the top 44! I ended up 52nd, which doesn’t sound that great, but it is always important to put things in perspective and remember who I’m racing against…THE BEST IN THE WORLD! It is always a very humbling and inspiring experience to compete at this level. It fuels my desire to train harder and race faster!br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_bfd1dFDmRWA/S23-XHq3w7I/AAAAAAAAAjc/2gEjVPMwPDA/s1600-h/winter+09+003.jpg”img style=”margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_bfd1dFDmRWA/S23-XHq3w7I/AAAAAAAAAjc/2gEjVPMwPDA/s200/winter+09+003.jpg” alt=”” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435279998455366578″ border=”0″ //abr /Today was the classic sprint.
