The strong field had reason to hammer in their mass start sprint races because there were time and $ bonuses spread out at different points around the course.br /SMS skiers had a good day with Heather Mooney leading the group with a great 15th place finish. You should look up results through summit timing, because this was a stacked field. Heather beat girls on the USST and was only 1 minute out of 2nd place in the 7.5 km race. Izzy, Cam, Gage and Issy P all skied very strong races and the Austins skied well in the boys race which was won by alum Andy Newell after the race leader, Ivan Babikov took the lap lane instead of coming into the finish.br /Here are a couple of pictures from the race. It was perfect January weather!br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S60-YHNcDII/AAAAAAAACow/Gr1Hpl3YPis/s1600/IMG_3399.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S60-YHNcDII/AAAAAAAACow/Gr1Hpl3YPis/s400/IMG_3399.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453083307788733570″ //aGarrot Kuzzy leads Simi Halilton and Andy Newell to the first prime and collects a 15 sec bonus and $250.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S60-JhDdm5I/AAAAAAAACoo/ziGZ5wpLbFk/s1600/IMG_3400.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S60-JhDdm5I/AAAAAAAACoo/ziGZ5wpLbFk/s400/IMG_3400.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453083057028176786″ //abr /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S6095x0SClI/AAAAAAAACog/KFeQWuXrbXA/s1600/IMG_3402.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S6095x0SClI/AAAAAAAACog/KFeQWuXrbXA/s400/IMG_3402.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453082786649999954″ //abr /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S609oSmDrnI/AAAAAAAACoY/luPuqdjC2Dw/s1600/IMG_3406.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/S609oSmDrnI/AAAAAAAACoY/luPuqdjC2Dw/s400/IMG_3406.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453082486211063410″ //aKikkan leads out of the start and never looks back.
