We have a very good steep hill right next to school so after a warm up we went to work. Andy Newell was fresh off his trip to New Zealand and he joined us. Andy skis very well so it is a great way for our skiers to learn by following.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcCF6YsV6I/AAAAAAAADqc/R0hLkCGntoA/s1600/IMG_6449.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 340px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcCF6YsV6I/AAAAAAAADqc/R0hLkCGntoA/s400/IMG_6449.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505371370079147938″ //aWe like to do a slalom during the warm up, it is fun and helps with a dynamic and total weight shift and quick feet.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcBtwBPG4I/AAAAAAAADqU/fe_zeNdJMuE/s1600/IMG_6452.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcBtwBPG4I/AAAAAAAADqU/fe_zeNdJMuE/s400/IMG_6452.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505370954979548034″ //abr /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcBB_2c61I/AAAAAAAADqM/GKxk5i8MB9Q/s1600/IMG_6471.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 270px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcBB_2c61I/AAAAAAAADqM/GKxk5i8MB9Q/s400/IMG_6471.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505370203315039058″ //aPulling someone helps with body position and leg strength.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcASn0vtsI/AAAAAAAADqE/L3SE4DODNak/s1600/IMG_6474.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 198px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGcASn0vtsI/AAAAAAAADqE/L3SE4DODNak/s400/IMG_6474.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505369389411579586″ //aWe finished the warm up with some leg speeds and then headed to the hills.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGb-1mcQ6AI/AAAAAAAADp8/JTvzhQ1vR4g/s1600/IMG_6484.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 334px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGb-1mcQ6AI/AAAAAAAADp8/JTvzhQ1vR4g/s400/IMG_6484.JPG” border=”0″alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505367791312627714″ //a For intervals, everyone started with a L3 up Tree Tops (about 5 minutes), then we went to the bottom and did 3 more. Andy did 3X6 minutes with 3 minutes rest, the SMS kids did 3X4.5 with 4.5 mintes rest. Andy was going L3 and the SMS kids skied with him (mostly L4) so it worked out perfectly.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGb-VDcDHYI/AAAAAAAADp0/JybMJtxxnp8/s1600/IMG_6487.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGb-VDcDHYI/AAAAAAAADp0/JybMJtxxnp8/s400/IMG_6487.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505367232160669058″ //aSkyler and birthday boy near the top.br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGb9XyLa5DI/AAAAAAAADps/PGVW30f3Gt8/s1600/IMG_6493.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 264px;” src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H2SCM3lmKm8/TGb9XyLa5DI/AAAAAAAADps/PGVW30f3Gt8/s400/IMG_6493.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5505366179555501106″ //aThis shows how important pacing and fitness are.
