Hi,br /Austin here, reporting from the couch. I am watching an impressive performance by the Eagles so far vs the Colts. Middlebury has been great so far. Like Izzy, my classes haven’t been too demanding which has been perfect for transitioning to college. One of my favorite classes has been philosophy, where we think about interesting ideas in our lives. The ski team is awesome, we have a good dynamic, just like the team at Stratton. And I’m not going to lie, our nordie football team is looking pretty solid right now.br / This weekend was very exciting; we had two time trials with the UVM team. On Saturday, we had a skate 10ish k for guys and 5k for girls on paved roller ski trails in Jericho. I had never skied on paved roller ski trails, so that was pretty cool. Plus, I raced well and was the fastest Middlebury guy(!), which was a pleasant surprise. Today we had a classic time trial up Brandon gap, which was quite hard. I felt pretty good, and was the last Middlebury guy. Seeing Gage was awesome, it was nice to catch up with her. It was also great to see Izzy last week at Moosilauke. br /The whole team is excited to hear that some of you guys are applying early, and I hope all is well down south.
