USST Announces Coaches for 2011 JWC & U-23 Worlds

This trip marks one of the premier steps of the elite athlete and coach development pipeline in the U.S.  The U.S. Ski Team is pleased to announce the 2011 staff:

Matt Whitcomb, Trip Leader, Junior Head Coach U.S. Ski Team
Bryan Fish, U23 Head Coach, U.S. Ski Team
Randy Gibbs, Head Service, U.S. Ski Team
Andrew Johnson, Service, University of Vermont
Casey Fagerquist, Service, Alaska Pacific University
Justin Beckwith, Service, Green Mountain Valley School
Amy Caldwell, Coach, Boulder Nordic Sport
Daniel Weiland, Coach, Ski and Snowboard Club Vail

The trip will launch on January 16th. The team will live in Vierumaki, Finland at a pre-camp from January 17th-23rd, and will then drive and ferry to the race venue in Otepaa, Estonia for six days of competitions. The team will depart from either Tallin, Estonia, or Helsinki, Finland on February 1st. This trip receives a combined $20,000 in support from the NCCSEF and the U.S. Ski Team.
