We made it to Finland! Sky and Heather arrived a few days ago and I flew in yesterday. Right now we’re staying about 25 km from Lahti in the middle of nowhere but it’s awesome because we’re in a really nice hotel and we have skiing right out the door. The group has been skiing at the hotel the last few days. Today was my first skiing. The trails are really nice, they’re pretty flat because we’re in a really flat area but there is plenty of snow and the temperature is in the twenties. It’s a nice change from last year when Austin, Bridger, and I were here and it never got warmer than -10F!
