This is a very busy time of the year for us. Yesterday we had a group from a sports college in Norway visiting to see how we did things at SMS. We have 5 6th/7th grade girls here for a Devo program this week. We have had nordic applicants visiting and we have our 4 kids who have been on USST trips returning for the last half of the season.
This weekend, the Devo kids and our J3’s are heading to the midget Championships in Canada. The rest of us will go to the EC races.
Today it warmed up fast! The skiing is great, but the snow was slow as only fresh warm powder snow can be. We still had a fun ski with some technique work and some group pick ups.
After our technique and pick ups, we took a couple of trips up the chair lift and practiced our high speed turns. Click on any picture to enlarge it!
