We had a good distance skate ski this morning. We started north on rte 7 (from East Dorset) with 70 degree temps and a nice tailwind. By the time we headed back 2 hours later, the temps had risen to the mid 80’s and the big wide shoulder was baking in the sun. It was a good reminder to everyone on the importance of hydration. We will be doing three 4-5 hr. workouts next week and it will be critical for everyone to be well hydrated and have access to fluids.
Rte 7 is quite flat so most of the group headed a ways up the Mt Tabor road and back down to add in a little terrain.
