I am now back in Park city, as we have finished our summer grand prix competitions. As I look back on the competitions I have to say, I am happy with everything even though some of my results were not the best.
I was really happy with the progression of my jumping as I started to jump at a much higher level. Unfortunately, I couldn’t reproduce those jumps in all my competitions, but at least I know that I am capable of jumping at that level and feel like I can continue to get better.
On the cross country side, I am very happy with the level of skiing. I learned quite a bit about tactics in the racing which will continue to help me earn better results in the future.
As I move forward, I will have plenty to work on and continue to improve. Our team will have national competitions in Chicago at the end of the month, followed by a quick in Lake Placid to finish of the summer and prepare for winter.
