It’s been a quiet week here in Waitsfield and we are getting rested and prepared for our big fall trip to West Yellowstone and Bozeman.  Today we are headed to Rutland to run our final 3k of the fall with the Rutland XC Team and have a team dinner at the Cirelli’s.
 Speaking of dinner, we’ve been laying out our menu for camp.  Look at this Turkey Burger creation by Coach Beckwith!  Shredded cukes and carrots, minced onions and garlic, and an egg mixed in with the paddy with melted cheddar on top.  Put down on a bed of toasted bread with avocado and topped with a chocolate glaze:) Not too shabby and much improved from “man surprise!”
The weather forecast for Yellowstone is looking good and we are gearing up for what looks to be a great trip.  Most of our skiers will race a 5/10km classic in Yellowstone and then race again in Bozeman the following weekend.  The general goal of camp is to get some good time on snow.
