Just in time for the January 2012 World Cup season, world champion biathlete Emil Hegle Svendsen (NOR) renewed his a contract with Madshus AS through the 2014 Sochi Olympic season. The new contract will have Svendsen using Madshus skis and ski boots.
Emil Hegle Svendsen is one of the most accomplished winter sports athletes in the world. Just last season alone, the 26-yearold biathlete earned eight individual World Cup victories and two World Championship titles from the 2011 Biathlon World Championships in Khanty Mansiysk (RUS). At Madshus, we consider this contract to be yet another piece of evidence that we produce world-class Nordic ski equipment. Furthermore, the contract reconfirms our market position as an industry leader in the Nordic ski industry and strengthens our brand image in the Nordic and biathlon community. Madshus is also proud to announce that Svendsen’s teammate on the Norwegian national team Lars Berger, 32, renews his contract with Madshus throughout the 2014 Sochi Olympic season. Madshus is looking forward to continue the invaluable relationships with our world-class athletes!
