Nordic Combined Pictures from YOG’s

Paddy and Heather had a day “off” today, but the nordic combined and biathlon skiers had races. Here are a couple of pictures from the NC race. They do a pursuit based on the single jump. They skied 4X2.5 km laps and it was exciting to watch. The lead changed several times and it was a sprint to the finish for a gold.
Thje guys in 2nd and 3rd here went on to place 2,1.
Colton (our US skier) hammers a short uphill before heading up to the finish.
I didn’t get to the finish in time to get close, but if you look closely, you can see the upraised arms.
