Off day here in Ramsau. We took advantage of the nice weather this morning and illegally went swimming in a snow making pond at the World Championship trails.

Also did a little rock skipping, although flat rocks were hard to come by.

Monique’s car was making a funny noise this morning. We had no idea what the problem was until she looked under it.

This afternoon we wanted to go steel rope climbing, but the weather turned on us.

I’m not exactly sure what steel rope climbing is, but apparently it’s the thing to do in Ramsau so hopefully I’ll get to go later this week.
Lastly, I was in Salzburg yesterday evening. Monique and I had dinner with Denise Herrmann and Daniel Heun, two members of the German National Ski Team. I believe it was the first time I’d seen this particular American chain in Europe:
