Vertical Challenge

 While some of our skiers were racing up Whiteface, we had our own vertical challenge; a 3 stage event dreamed up by Matt. Above, Tess, Kate and Russell take off on their bike ride.

 The boys started biking from Manchester, while the girls biked a loop up on the mtn.

 Everyone changed from bikes to classic roller skis at the Winhall library and skied up the freshly paved access road to the base of the mtn.

 Tess was the leader after the ski.

Tegan, Pippin and Ana.

 Hamish and Jack felt good and hammered up the ski.

 Koby was close behind.

 At the base of the gondola, everyone switched to running shoes and headed up the mtn to the summit.
